Introduction:
Inspired by the way alot of non furry people respond to us, mostly with judgment and contempt, I decided to write up something that migth sway their thoughts a bit, for those who cared enough to read my things. I realise I may have generalised the furry fandom a bit too simply; I know that there are practically as many ways to be a furry as there are furries in the world, theres no one definition of the label (as I covered in my write up about what a furry is). However (now this a big however), from being on furaffinity I've found that practically all the users there (and visitors) have one form of sexual deviance or another, otherwise they wouldnt be at that site. So I say; most the furries I know are deviants. BUT! I have left out the vast majoroty of people who are passionate about anthro and cartoon characters, a whole population of writers and animators and producers; its alot of people. They are technically furries too.
I excluded them, I know. why? because almost ALL of this vast quantity of people dont label themselves furry as easily as we do. In the internet world you are not a furry unless you say you are. Thus people who label themselves furries are mostly the kind who visit furaffinity.
I would love it if there was a servey of furries. There is one problem, it is IMPOSSIBLE.... to get a correct answer.
The kind that are most important will not be part of the servey because they dont think themselves to be furry, so alot (that ALOT!) of people will be missing
and the whole thing will have been a total waste of time. You'll never be able to pinpoint the exact of even loosly esitmate the number os sexual deviants
from the nromal ones. I'll bet that if there WAS a servey done, it'd show mostly sexual deviants, as they label themselves furry more then any other furry out there. It wouldn't be a fair representation.
I do believe that most furries are the way I describ them here. I've simply dumbed it down for the non-furries who think that all furries are sexually deviant. Am I making a mistake by letting people think that that is the case? Maybe, but I dont think so. I did my best to explain
that on my "what is a furry" page, but once again I mainly focus on the sexual ones. To sum it up, it is my belief that the label "furry" is used prodomonantly by people who have
more then just an interest in cartoons and the like, I wish it wasnt so but I think it just is.
Rule #34. There will always be porn of it.
Followed by Rule #35. If there is none, it will be made.
A lot of people who can be bothered being bothered by furries will not like this, especially as there is a dedicated rule (#46) that states that there is always furry porn of it.
Furries and you.
Furrys are a strange people, most of which (I believe) have a lust for something other then humans in one form or another. Some of us furries don't like to admid this readily, such as myself; a privatly perverted individual, like to think that not all, and probably most furries aren't so bad, so that I can label myself a furry for others to see and be able to faulsly maintain that I'm one of the "clean" ones. I have found though, that a lot of furries like to think the same, they have their dark little secret but like to maintain that they are clean so that the fandom isn't fround upon so much. The problem is, there are clean ones out there, but they're surrounded by smut. They want to be recognised as furries but not labled as perverted; it's simply cannot be achieved. The definition of durry has taken on such a strong stench of smut that its almost imbarrasing for furries to admit to not furries that they are one.
It's no ones fault, its just one of those things that happen, like how the word gay is used to define a homosexual instead of being happy. It actually frustrates me that the word gay is used for homosexuals, the word has been soiled. I'm gay myself, and i dont think its fair that such a thing happened. Some furries feel the same way too. Most people don't really care any more about the word gay, prettymuch everyone got over it, likewise most (almost all) have gotten over the fact that furry means artistic and enthusiastic about cartoons, but also a bit deviant. Its fact now, you cant change it just cos you think it should, just like you could troll around saying GAY IS HAPPY, you'll be ignored by most.
Rule #14. Dont argue with Trolls. It means that they win.
Followed by Rule 15. The harder you try, the harder you will fail.
Trolls are the minoroty who think they know best and that everyone should be like them. Their favourite activity is to bate other into and argument. They are people who inject themselves into a place designated for furries and complain about furries "taking over then internet". They're also the people who keep saying FURRIES ARE JUST ARTISTIC AND LIKE CARTOONS. They troll around being rightious, prietching what they KNOW is right. They fail, of course they don't think that but everyone else knows that they have failed when they do.
Rule #18. Everything that can be labeled can be hated.
Homosexuals are labeled with that word and many others. Label = judgment. Judgment (as in, something you wouldn't usually do) = fear. Fear is the root of anger and hate. Furries suffer the same in that regard. The label beings the indivdual some meaning and purpous, so that they can live in peace. Label also equals isolation as the label is the wall the seperates different labels, as in straight and gay. Labels are a part of life.
Rule #19. The more you hate it the stronger it gets.
The homosexuals grow in numbers, they are a part of this world no matter what anyone says or believes. Even the great god that created them cannot stop them with his 5000 year old scripture that was written by a group of men with THE POWER. Perverted furries exist, there is nothing you can do to stop them because they break no rules, the fact is you just dont like them. They will always exist and they will grow in numbers. Repeat to yourself Rule #19 over and over and maybe you will decide not to troll any more. They may grow in numbers, but they will eventually slip back into their world and stop meddling with yous. You started the firght for whats right, look what you did. Rule #19. the more you hate it, the stronger it gets.
