...So what sort of stupid name is JohnOfE? ![]() Well, since you here, you must want to know more about me, so lets get it on:
Im born in New Zealand, live in Auckland, and work in top secret govt locations so secret not even I know where I am... in the photo above I believe im being detained for
vigorous questioning and torture. Truth is, if I told you where I am, I'd have to reach through that computer screen and cut your head off BAM!
I have a facination with: Norbert Beaver, cartoons, music, and general electronics (wires, circuit boards, bits and pieces). JohnOfE is the name I have chosen for myself to go by eveywhere I go on the net, and im sure the name is rare enough to make it mine. So much so that I have named my site after myself. so... you probably dont care, I know I wouldn't, but I'm gonna put this here anyway: how I came up with the name. Back in the day (early 2004) I liked my middle name John, I liked even more the name johnny that I thought it'd be 'cool' to put an E on the end of it like this John'E. that went on for a while, named my first webiste ever "The home of John'E". THEN, during maths class, midlessly daydreaming about how funny it is adding OF in between words (long stupid pointless story) I randomly though John Of E (replacing the ' with OF), and I clicked... "NEEEEET!" I thought. Philip Crouch who was sitting next to me at the time thought it was quite stupid, but I like it. I liked the way it sounds when you say it like one word, like a forren name or something. BTW: the first time I ever writ it down I used capitals for the first letter of each word, it's ALWAYS been like that cos it looks cool, only for the reason that it looks cool. Not too long later I totally adopted the name JohnOfE, now anywhere you see the word johnofe, you know its me; Just type it into google and youll find every page that im on, each website that im registered with.
I'm madly into Pink Floyd, it defines my taste in music.
My fav Floyd tunes would be A Saucerful of Secrets (expecially the live ones). The PULSE version of Comfortably Numb has by far the greatest guitar solo of all time, it's moving. David Gilmours Then I Close My Eyes played live on Remember That Night DVD is also something special... actually the whole DVD is spectacular and to not own it is to be deprived of much enjoyment. Get if you fool! I also listen to The Doors, Alice Cooper, Roger Whittaker, Royksopp, Sigur Ros, the list goes on... Please don't hate me for being a furry, it's not my fault. My life may be totally ruled by that of a fictional character, but I enjoy being me and everything that comes with it. That's probably more then you can say for yourself. Even if I were to die today, I wouldn't mind, that's just the way it goes. I would rather keep living though so that I can continue listening to the wonderful music and keep worshiping the beaver that I love so very much. Peace. hope you enjoy johnofe.com, glad to have your visit! Be Well! ![]() ![]() |
