Homo-Sexual men and the strait society. This is my oppinion.

Today theres alot more gay people around, or atleast we think there is.
The truth is, theres just as many today as there were decades ago.
They're simly comming out of hiding because we are now "accepting" gay people into out community,
or atleast some of our communities are. i.e: Religion.

However, there are some people who still only kind of accept gay people, they're the ones who will stand silently and fume inside as they see a gay couple holding hands or such. Its understandable that some strait people may find the sight of a gay couple kissing Passionatly in public very annoying or offencive, there is a line that SOME the gay community must draw. But in reality, almost all gay coples are very well behaved and blend into society well. However, in the odd case: there's not enough wrong with a simple small kiss to condem them. Because in actual fact, out of the vast population of homo sexuals, only VERY few actually go too far... All it takes is for one person to get ticked off to give almost all gays a bad name, Word of mouth is a very powerful thing, and people like to complain about things more then compliment them.
So lets dig deeper into the gay community and really understand how it works... Unless your afrade that you JUST MIGHT end up likeing gays more then you did before now.

Youll find that there are many people or organisations who are constantly trying to answer this question, they come up the their most likely conclusion and go tell the media and cause a massive inter-nation-wide argument. Just recently (Aug-06), some university came up with yet another cause; They recon that boys who have grown up without a proper bond between him and another male figure (father or male caregiver) have been staved of love and effection from another male and end up seeking this later in life by intermit same-sex relationships. This topic was talked about on a talk-back radio station, a gay male in his 50's called and stated that he was greatly offended and angry that such a biased and sterio-typed conclusion could have been made. This man had grown up in a fully healthy factional family, had a loving mother and father, he has no abnormality that suggests any reason to be gay at all. He spent most of this life in denial and leading what would look like a normal strait relationship with women, but has only recently over the past few years let himself be what he truly is. He is and always has been gay, and always will be.

Basicly, this conclusion only covers a small protion of gay men who just happened to not have a very good reletionship with their fathers throughout their life. Its still mostly argued that homosexuality is caused by a genetic dissorder, its not been pin-pointed yet where the cause actually is, and until then there is no cause. As I state below, its as predictable and treatble as left-handedness. It is thought by many people that a guy is able to "turn gay", but as far as im concerned; thats not possible. Sure, people have choices, but their initial desire and human instinct always remain the same throughout there lives. But the best way to look at this is to compare the gay man with the left-hander. He is born with it, and to HIM it is the NORMAL thing for him to do. He knows hes different, but cannot understand how or why it feels so normal. You can make him learn to use his right hand, and he may be albe to force himself to change. However, he will always feel much better doing what he feels is right, by using his left hand. Which is why almost all left-handers dont want or NEED to change over. Why? whats the real NEED to? There is none. So they reamin doing what they feel comfortable doing at no harm to anyone. This example is no different what so ever from being gay: You might be able to force a gay man to perform a strait sexual and maybe even emotional relationship with a woman, but he'll always know he's not that way, and will never feel comfortalbe unless he can do what feels right to him. So gays remain doing what they feel comfortable doing, at no harm to anyone.

So you cannot TRULY turn from one sexuality to another, But there is a group of people who can: Bi Sexuals. These men want both woman AND men, it doesnt matter to them, its just a case of who he falls in love with first, gender not being a factor. There are cases where people think that someones turned gay or the other way around, but thats simply just someone realising what they really are, what they were before wasnt right to begin with and they realised it and moved to the right place for them. But basicly, being gay is as much a choice as being left-handed, just as much preventable or curable as left-handedness.

The reality is, most gay men look and even act (speak) like you or I, we wouldn't know their homo sexuality unless they told us. So it goes missunderstood, most people think that in order for someone to be gay, he MUST speak like a feminist and know alot about fassion etc etc. This is known as Gay Culture.

I believe the main reason behind the vast majoroty of people who disslike gay people is the simple rule of life: "We fear what we do not understand." Because in fact, most of the people in our society still do not understand how the gay community works. Its such a sensitive topic that it all goes unsaid and most information is practially based on personal beliefs which are usually VERY incorrect. The only source of information that most people can gain about gays today is from the media (where else?!). Its a very unreliable source of solid information about gays, infact it is mostly rubbish. Hoever there is a very small number of gay men who do follow the culture, and for good reason...

But what is the gay culture all about? why is it what it is? Some people will think that its just a side effect of the person simply being gay, like as if its a fault in the brain or something. Well its not. Its actually a culture that the gay male adopts. Its a form on self expression, mainly from the feminen sort. Plus, it serves as an identification method so that the unknown people surrounding can see that the person is gay without having to be told. The gay culture also includes the way they walk, this is mainly a choice. REMEMBER! This entire culture is NOT used by ALL gay men! So you cannot expect all gay men to act like this. Its a good method of identification if its actually being used by the individual, but because not all gays use it, you cant simply assume that someones strait if they dont use the culture. He could very well be gay, choosing not to stand out.

You simply CANNOT judge a persons sexuality just by looking at them, you can only really know by actually being told by the individual.

So it rests at this:
The COMMON gay male is absolutly no different what so ever from the rest of the community, the ONLY difference is the fact that he'd rather have another male partener. There is NO other difference AT ALL!
